is a hypothetical theme for the annual Typecon Conference. The theme is inspired by the city of St. Louis, Renaissance lettering, the revival of different typefaces, and the location of the conference in City Museum. The theme draws upon the idea of taking tradition and bringing it into the modern age, but also of rediscovering the relevance of historical aesthetic to the modern day.
The logotype is constructed of two parts. One part is inspired by the lettering of Geoffrey Tory's book Champs Fleury.
The second version of each letter is pictoral, mimicking the illustrative Renaissance lettering at the beginning of manuscript chapters. Each letter depicts a different element of the City Museum, again uniting the modern day with the past.
